BEONIX, the three-day electronic music festival that will take place in Cyprus from 22 to 24 September 2023, in a press conference held today in Limassol, unveiled 10 acclaimed local DJs who will perform alongside world-famous Black Coffee, Maceo Plex, Stephan Bodzin and Paul Kalkbrenner, names that have already been announced.

ARGY K, ANTONY K, AFRICAN STEVENSON, BAROQUE, KOSTA KRITIKOS, NIKSU, REPITT, PAN, PAUL ANTHONY, and TASH, filled the hall of the "Panos Solomonides" Cultural Center in Limassol, which was granted to the organizers of the festival by the Limassol Municipality, with energy, motivation and freshness.

Each artist had the opportunity to talk about his musical influences, his experience in the field, what prompted him to choose the path of electronic music, and what participation in an international music festival means to him.

PAUL ANTHONY, originally from Cyprus and having spent many years in Thessaloniki, was extremely happy with the steps taken by Cypriots in DJing and music production on the island.

TASH, originally from Thessaloniki and director of Movement Recordings based in Cyprus, who has been 'travelling' for years with fans in Greece and Cyprus with the rhythms of Melodic House, Progressive House, and Techno, believes that Cyprus is on its most upward path in terms of the electronic scene and is very happy to take part in BEONIX.

ARGY K (Kyriakos) from Nicosia, having started music from a young age, moved on to music production in 2011, while he is active in organizing underground parties (INDIGO) all over the island and he said he is happy that this genre will be represented at the Festival.

ANTONY K from Limassol has been involved in electronic music for the last 6 years, he is happy to take part in the biggest electronic music festival ever held in Cyprus, and extra excited to be in his city of Limassol.

AFRICAN STEVENSON from Nicosia, has been a music producer for over 10 years, with performances beyond the territorial waters of the island such as in America, IBIZA, and recently in Lebanon, owner of Deadline Radio with regular video and event postings on his own YouTube channel he drags his fans with melodic techno rhythms, progressive house music with Afro-characteristics. He states that he is very happy to be part of the group of artistes that will be performing at BEONIX.

BAROQUE (Michalis) from Athens and a resident of Cyprus since the age of 8, is the youngest member, only 25 years old and has been involved in music for 3 years, he is a resident DJ Mason, and declares to be excited to participate in BEONIX, he also hopes that it will be something that will be repeated in the coming years.

KOSTA KRITIKOS from Athens and a resident of Cyprus for the last 3 years has been involved in music for over 20 years and in music production for the last 10 years. He is Resident DJ and co-owner of Kesh club and entertains his fans with house afro, global rhythms. He is participating in BEONIX for the 2nd year this year and is looking forward to the 22nd of September when it kicks off.

REPITT (Andreas) is from Limassol and has been involved in music for the last 9-10 years. He is a resident DJ at Salut Bar, Nova Beach Bar in Limassol, focusing on Organic and Afro-house. He states that he looks forward to the day of the festival.

NIKSU (Nikita) is a Limassol resident, resident DJ of Beonix, with participations in the pre-parties organized before the Festival, and invited everyone to attend the upcoming pre-party at Columbia Sun. He has a residency at Mixology, focusing his musical journey on downtempo, organic house, afro-house and techno, adopting his 'storytelling' style while stating that he is preparing a special story for us at Beonix.

PAN (Panagiotis) from Limassol, has been involved in the electronic music scene for the last 10 years, having created Melody Lab which will soon operate as a record label. His rhythms of choice are mainly house and he is very grateful to have been chosen to perform at BEONIX Music Festival.

In a short statement on behalf of the organizers, Ms. Stella Koukounis thanked all the DJs for their participation praising their fresh and highly 'infectious' energy. She then thanked the Limassol Municipality and the Cypriot media for their support. He concluded by stating that "the marriage of local music production with the big names of the electronic music scene was a goal of the organisers and we all look forward to it becoming a reality soon", giving a date for September 22nd in Limassol at ETKO's premises.
