The Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment (Administrative Authority of the CAP Strategic Plan 2023 – 2027), in collaboration with the Cypriot Agricultural Payments Organization (CAPO) and the Department of Agriculture, has announced the Beekeeping Program for the year 2024.

The year 2024 marks the second year of the program's implementation. Eligible for the program are actions that have been implemented from August 1, 2023, to July 31, 2024.

The Beekeeping Program is co-financed, with 50% of its funding coming from the European Agricultural Guarantee Fund and the remaining 50% from national resources. It anticipates total expenditures (subsidies) of €339,306 per year, amounting to a total budget of €1,696,530 for the five-year period from 2023 to 2027.

Applications for participation in the Beekeeping Program for the year 2024 should be submitted to the Provincial Agricultural Offices of the Department of Agriculture.
