The “Parents and Children TOGETHER at Work” Program Returns for a Fourth Year

Alpha Bank Cyprus is continuing its successful initiative, the “Parents and Children TOGETHER at Work” Program — a meaningful effort that strengthens the bond between family and the workplace by giving teenagers the opportunity to explore the world of work through their parents’ daily environment.

From July 7 to August 29, 2025, employees of the Bank will have the opportunity to host their children aged 15 to 18 at their workplace — whether in branches or other Alpha Bank Cyprus departments. Through their participation, children will gain insight into the core functions of a modern organization, observe their parents’ daily work, interact with colleagues, and take part in simple yet meaningful tasks, gaining valuable knowledge and experience.

This exposure helps children better understand their parent’s role, cultivates responsibility and self-esteem, enhances skills such as teamwork and professional conduct, and provides inspiration for their future career orientation. At the same time, it offers parents the chance to connect with their children in a different environment, creating meaningful bonds through shared experiences.

Now in its fourth consecutive year, the Program has been warmly embraced by the Bank’s staff and their families. Since its launch in 2022, it has become a hallmark initiative for integrating and actively involving families within the organization. Dozens of young people have already taken part, acquiring insights and stimuli that continue to influence their personal growth — reaffirming Alpha Bank Cyprus’ longstanding commitment to a human-centered approach, consistency, and vision.

This initiative is part of the broader “Education” pillar of Alpha Bank Cyprus, which aims to empower employees and their families through high value-added activities. It also forms part of a holistic approach that promotes work-life balance, fosters empathy, and strengthens the organization’s role as a responsible employer.
