Cyprus Airways Launches Flight Route to Brussels

Connecting Cyprus to the EU Capital

Cyprus Airways announced the commencement of its flight service between Larnaca and the vibrant city of Brussels, operating twice weekly. This new route represents "a significant step in Cyprus Airways' mission to connect Cyprus with key international destinations."

Tasos Michael, the CEO and Executive Chairman of Cyprus Airways, stated, "The introduction of the Brussels flight is more than just connecting two beautiful destinations. It bridges a gap between Cyprus, a member state of the European Union, and the EU's capital. The route is served by our new Airbus A220-300 aircraft, which boasts the most impressive business class in the European mid-range market. The rear part of our cabin is also more comfortable than many of our competitors, making it one of the most environmentally friendly aircraft in the market."

At a brief speech in Brussels Airport today, Christos Limnatitis, the Commercial Director of Cyprus Airways, expressed, "We are excited about the opportunities this new route brings to business, politics, culture, and tourism. I want to thank our dedicated team who made this route a reality, the Brussels Airport team for their enthusiastic support, and above all, our distinguished passengers for their preference and support of our airline."

Addressing passengers who traveled on the first flight from Brussels to Cyprus, Mr. Limnatitis said, "We are soon welcoming the first passengers of the flight from Brussels to Larnaca. We are delighted to have you with us on this journey to the Mediterranean. We promise a wonderful travel experience that is not just about arriving at your destination, but also enjoying the flight to Cyprus with our new Airbus A220-300, the most modern and environmentally friendly medium-range aircraft flying today."
