ENA Foundation Brings Businesses and NGOs Together at the Event “Connect for Change”
Bridging the World of Business and Civil Society With a Shared Purpose
On 4 December 2025, ENA Foundation will host the innovative event “Connect for Change”. The event will bring Non-Governmental Organisations and businesses together to open a meaningful dialogue on partnerships that create real social impact.
The event will take place at Olio in Nicosia. It is addressed to NGOs and private companies active in corporate sustainability and responsibility and wishing to develop partnerships for social benefit. The initiative aims at creating a space for knowledge sharing, good practices and opportunities for cooperation, strengthening dialogue and building socially beneficial initiatives. At a time when social challenges demand joint action, “Connect for Change” will also show how the expertise of NGOs can meet the networks, resources and momentum of business to form partnerships that benefit society.
During the event, ENA Foundation will present, for the first time, the three projects selected for funding under the Grants for Change programme, an open call for project proposals from NGOs. The new theme that will guide the 2026 call will also be announced. This presentation marks the start of a series of collaborations linking organisations, local communities and businesses through a support model that prioritises sustainability.
The programme includes two focused panel discussions on the relationship between NGOs and businesses and the potential for joint action in a transparent and sustainable way. The first panel looks at how the two sides can create social impact together by addressing bias and building trust. The second panel presents examples of partnerships already in place and shows how a clear idea can move into action when both sides share the same goal. The discussions aim to show what works, what obstacles appear and what conditions support practical and meaningful collaboration.
Participants will then join a facilitated networking session run in collaboration with Conversation Café Cyprus, which will provide a direct way to meet, share experiences and explore potential partnerships beyond standard networking formats.
The event will close with a networking cocktail that will give attendees the opportunity to continue the conversation in an informal and welcoming setting.
Participation is free of charge, and the event starts at 16:00. Secure your place through the registration platform and take part in a dialogue that can lead to meaningful cooperation.
As Ms Anastasia Ellina, one of the programme coordinators at ENA Foundation, notes: “Connect for Change is a call to anyone who believes that social change is possible when businesses and civil society come together with a shared purpose. We believe in the strength of collaboration and want to create space for those who are ready to connect and act together.”
