Invest Cyprus has achieved a significant milestone by securing the leadership role within the Eastern Europe division of the World Association of Investment Promotion Agencies (WAIPA). This accomplishment was announced at the 27th World Investment Conference, held at the India International Exhibition and Expo Center in New Delhi from December 11 to 14, 2023.

In a detailed press release, it was revealed that Invest Cyprus, under the leadership of CEO Marios Tannoussi, emerged victorious from a rigorous selection process. This success underscores the organization's unwavering dedication to fostering sustainable development on a global scale through strategic foreign direct investment (FDI) initiatives.

The World Investment Conference, orchestrated by WAIPA, is a renowned forum uniting government dignitaries, entrepreneurs, and senior delegates from investment promotion agencies (IPAs) worldwide. The conference's theme for this year, "Empowering Investors: Innovative Development for OEPs", resonated with Invest Cyprus’s vision. It presented an invaluable platform for the organization to reaffirm its commitment to sustainable growth in the Eastern European region.

Mr. Marios Tannoussis, the CEO of Invest Cyprus, played an instrumental role in forging unity among European Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) around sustainability objectives. Expressing his gratitude for the support received at the conference, Mr. Tannoussis emphasized the importance of collaborative efforts in promoting sustainable development.
