An innovative initiative by Prountzos & Prountzos LLC in collaboration with the Research and Innovation Foundation, INSTANT (INtelligent platform for providing STaffing ANd Training in the Hotel Industry) aims to resolve the persisting challenge of labor shortages in the Cypriot hotel industry.

Supported by a consortium of ten diverse partners, including governmental, public, and private entities -Digital Tree and Tabs and Spaces are among them- the platform received a generous funding of over €800,000. This forward-thinking platform has been designed to streamline job search processes, ensuring that potential employees are not just recruited, but also proficiently trained, thereby enhancing the economic competitiveness of Cyprus.

Indeed, INSTANT's intervention couldn't have been timelier. The paradoxical challenge of simultaneous labor shortages and high unemployment rates, especially post-Covid 19, has been perplexing. The INSTANT platform, thus, emerges as a holistic solution, blending modern technology with human resource requirements, poised to reshape the hospitality landscape of Cyprus.
