Six-Month Extension for New Business Activity Support Scheme

Six-Month Extension for New Business Activity Support Scheme

The Completion of Projects Included in the Scheme Is Now Expected Within Thirty Months

The Ministry of Energy, Commerce, and Industry has decided to extend the implementation period for investment proposals approved under the First Announcement of the Grant Scheme for Strengthening New Business Activity.

According to the Ministry's announcement, the completion of projects included in the Scheme is now expected within thirty months, instead of the previously stipulated twenty-four months, from the date of the approval letter.

This extension implies that the point 12.2 of the Scheme's Guide has been modified to state, "The full implementation and completion of their investments, in accordance with the terms set in the Public Funding Agreement, should take place within a thirty (30) month period from the date of the approval letter received from the Ministry."

The completion date of the investment will be verified through invoices and other documents or through on-site inspections, as mentioned in the announcement.

Interested parties are encouraged to obtain the revised Scheme Guide from the website of the Industrial and Technology Service. This extension offers applicants additional time to fulfill their commitments and contributes to the smoother execution of their business plans under the Scheme.
