Svelta Founder Strikes €70K Deal on Dragons’ Den Greece

Cypriot entrepreneur Christis Plastiras secures backing from Instashop founder John Tsioris to expand logistics startup

Cyprus-based founder Christis Plastiras has landed a €70,000 investment on Dragons’ Den Greece for his logistics startup, Svelta, a B2B platform transforming how distribution networks operate.

Pitching to the panel, Plastiras laid out the inefficiencies plaguing traditional distribution systems, where competing companies often deliver to the same addresses independently on the same day. “The result,” he said, “is up to 40% inefficiency due to isolated operations and unshared data.”

Svelta tackles that problem head-on. The platform allows businesses to manage last-mile deliveries using either their own fleets or vehicles from Svelta’s shared logistics network, turning idle capacity into opportunity.

The deal marks a new chapter for Svelta as it continues to scale and build out its collaborative network across Greece and Cyprus.
