TUS Airways Resumes Flights Between Larnaca and Tel Aviv
The Airline Announced That the Flights Will Initially Operate Three Times a Week
TUS Airways will resume its flights between Larnaca and Tel Aviv on Thursday, January 25th. The airline announced that the flights will initially operate three times a week, with the aim of becoming daily. Specifically, flights will be on Sundays, Mondays, and Thursdays, featuring a convenient schedule that caters to both business travelers and weekend getaways.
The company stated that since October last year, TUS Airways has played a pivotal role in transporting passengers between Cyprus and Israel under challenging conditions, conducting over 25 additional flights. Although the company's flights were temporarily suspended on November 4, 2023, today's announcement of the resumption of these routes is not only a significant milestone but also a testament to the company's unwavering commitment to reconnecting Tel Aviv with Cyprus.
Philip Saunders, Commercial Director of TUS Airways, mentioned that the airline is reinstating routes to/from Tel Aviv, "one of its most significant destinations." "We have always been dedicated to serving Tel Aviv and resuming flights as soon as conditions permitted," he said, noting that "Cyprus, beloved by Israelis, is now even closer."
According to the announcement, TUS Airways will actively reassess the current situation with the goal of increasing the frequency of flights between Tel Aviv and Larnaca and resuming other routes, such as between Tel Aviv, Paphos, and Preveza, as soon as possible.
