Shipping Chamber President: Cyprus Shipping anchored by Strong Foundations
The strong foundations of the Cypriot shipping industry and its significant prospects for further development were presented by the President of the Cyprus Shipping Chamber, Andreas Neophytou, during his speech at the Chamber's 37th Annual General Meeting in Limassol on Wednesday.
According to a statement from the Cyprus Shipping Chamber, Mr. Neophytou noted that, from local initiatives to international representation, the Chamber continues to work tirelessly to ensure the industry remains competitive and resilient on a global scale. He added that through collective action, cooperation, and innovation, Cypriot shipping is in a strong position to continue growing dynamically within a rapidly changing international environment.
Furthermore, according to the announcement, Professor Marios Efthymiopoulos, Director of Strategy International (SI) and Associate Professor of International Security and Strategy, delivered a speech presenting an assessment of the geopolitical forces currently shaping international shipping. He also highlighted the competitive advantages and strategic positioning of Cyprus Shipping.
The General Meeting was also addressed by the President of the Republic, Nikos Christodoulides, and the President of the House of Representatives, Annita Demetriou.
