Cyprus GDP Surges 3.6% in Q3—Here’s What Fueled the Rise
Seasonally adjusted data from the Statistical Service reveals steady quarterly and annual economic expansion.
Cyprus’ real GDP growth rate (seasonally adjusted) is estimated to have reached 3.6% in the third quarter of 2025 compared with the corresponding quarter of 2024, according to the Statistical Service.
Specifically, GDP in the third quarter amounted to €7,645.9 million.
Compared with the second quarter of 2025, the GDP growth rate for the third quarter stood at 0.9%.
As noted in the Statistical Service’s announcement, the positive growth rate is mainly attributed to the sectors of Wholesale and Retail Trade; Repair of Motor Vehicles, Information and Communications, and Hotels and Restaurants.
