Eurobank: Capital Group Cuts Stake Below 5%

The Stake Corresponds to 180,069,024 Voting Rights Attached to Eurobank’s Ordinary Shares.

Eurobank announced that the voting rights indirectly held by The Capital Group Companies, Inc. have fallen below the 5% threshold of its share capital.

According to the bank, based on a notification received from CGC, as of February 26, 2026 the company’s voting rights in Eurobank’s ordinary shares stood at 4.96%, down from a level above 5%.

This stake corresponds to 180,069,024 voting rights attached to Eurobank’s ordinary shares.

CGC is the parent company of Capital Research and Management Company (CRMC) and Capital Bank & Trust Company (CB&T).

The Eurobank shares are not held for CGC’s own account or by its affiliated companies but belong to accounts managed on a discretionary investment basis by one or more management companies.

The disclosure forms part of transparency obligations regarding significant changes in shareholding percentages of listed companies.
