Paphos Regional Board of Tourism Participates in the European i-DEMO Program in Sicily
The Paphos Regional Board of Tourism (ETAP Paphos) is participating as a stakeholder in the training program and pilot actions of the European project "i-DEMO. Improving Destination Management Offer through game-based strategies," which are taking place in Selinunte, Sicily, from May 26 to May 28, 2026.
The program gathers tourism and cultural stakeholders from various European countries and focuses on innovative destination management approaches through the use of gamification, digital tools, storytelling, accessibility, and the enhancement of visitor experiences.
The actions include experiential visits, co-design workshops, testing specialized tools, and the collaborative development of new tourism proposals for cultural destinations.
According to a statement by ETAP, its participation is part of its ongoing strategy to enhance innovation, smart tourism, and the experiential visitor experience in the Paphos Region, as well as to exchange knowledge and best practices with European partners.
The i-DEMO project aims to improve destination management through interactive and gamified methodologies, contributing to the creation of more attractive, accessible, and sustainable tourism experiences across Europe.
