Approximately 90 academics, educators, business executives, and project directors from the Middle East, Gulf countries, Cyprus, Europe, and Canada are participating in 'The Case Conference 2024' hosted by the American University of Beirut (AUB) – Mediterraneo. The event, taking place from February 2nd to 3rd, is located in Paphos.

According to the university's press release, this conference is another innovative initiative of the 'AUB Case Hub', operating at the Beirut-based parent university in collaboration with the internationally renowned 'Ivey Publishing'. Ivey Publishing is considered a leader in providing business case studies with global reach.

'The Second Case Conference' offers a unique networking and collaboration opportunity for individuals involved in drafting specialized studies or those interested in the region and its developmental potential, including local and broader-area educators.

The announcement adds that the conference features a rich program including speeches, professional development workshops, panel discussions, presentation sessions, and case development sessions, led by experienced authors, academics, and educators.

During the sessions, participants will have the opportunity to present their ideas for writing their own cases and receive detailed feedback from seasoned advisors. The conference aims to help participants, through mentor-mentee synergies, advance their cases towards publication in The Case Hub, through publishers and distributors, and in specialized journals.

The goal of 'AUB the Case Hub' is to become the reference platform allowing those interested in case study methods to meet and network with top experts and specialists from around the world. It is noted that the conference's opening ceremony will be held on Friday, February 2nd, at 9:00 am, at the Pafos Innovation Center, where the university is temporarily housed until the completion of its own campus. The event concludes on Saturday, February 3rd.

The opening ceremony will feature addresses by AUB President Fadlo R. Khuri, Paphos Mayor Phedonas Phedonos, AUB – Mediterraneo President Wassim El Hajj, Dean of AUB Business School Dr. Yusuf Sidani, and Conference President Dr. Randa Salamoun.
