Panagiotis Zafeiris, the Rector of TEPAK, announced on New Year's Day on the "X" Platform, that the draft for establishing a University Faculty of Marine Sciences, Technology, and Sustainable Development in Larnaca has been completed.

He added, "This ambitious initiative aims not only to enhance our academic capabilities in these fields but also to contribute to the advancement of marine sciences and sustainable development."

The Rector of TEPAK further stated, "Responding to the call of the President of the Republic and the Ministries of Education and Finance, we have worked diligently and devotedly over the last two months to prepare this comprehensive proposal, which will be presented to the relevant bodies of the University in the coming weeks."

Mr. Zafeiris expressed his gratitude in his post, "Thanks to everyone who contributed to this effort, namely my office staff and research team, and friends and colleagues within and outside the University, for their valuable contributions that enriched our proposal.
