Wargaming Announces Six New Educational Programs in Cyprus
Programs Will Be Conducted Online and Are Free for All
For another year, Wargaming is pleased to offer educational opportunities to students and recent university graduates. Participants in the Wargaming Forge program will have the chance to enhance their skills under the guidance of top industry experts through six educational programs.
These programs focus on the following fields: Software Engineering, Game LiveOps, Maintenance, 3D Art, 2D Art, and Visual Effects (VFX). They offer a combination of practical and theoretical knowledge, providing participants with access to vital information and expertise.
It's noteworthy that the programs will be conducted online and are free for all. The selection process is highly competitive due to the limited number of available positions. Eligible candidates must possess certain hard skills, such as English proficiency for all programs and basic programming knowledge for some, like Software Engineering.
Participants who excel during the program will have the opportunity to work at Wargaming's offices in Nicosia, Cyprus, as part of a paid internship. Candidates must have the right to work in Cyprus (Wargaming does not provide residence and work permits for these positions).
Last year, Wargaming Forge strengthened its ties with Cyprus's academic sector through two memoranda of cooperation with the University of Cyprus and the Cyprus University of Technology. In collaboration with these universities, Wargaming's Creative Research department conducted an unpaid internship program for students at the University of Nicosia and a joint internship program with UCLan Cyprus.
