The Cyprus Tax Department and the Deputy Ministry of Research, Innovation and Digital Policy have announced the launch of a new tax support and service page for citizens and businesses.

According to a joint statement, this initiative is part of the transition to the new integrated information system Tax For All (TFA). The goal is to simplify tax-related procedures, enhance transparency, and improve operational efficiency through new digital service channels.

A newly launched informational support page provides consolidated material to help users understand and navigate the TFA system. Resources available include:

• Practical information for using the system effectively

Enhanced Digital Assistant on gov.cy

The Digital Assistant on the official government portal gov.cy has been upgraded with thematic sections related to TFA services. This tool now offers 24/7 support to taxpayers on a wide range of topics, such as:

• Employer declarations (PAYE)

• Registration or modification of taxpayer details

• Creation of a TFA account

• VAT submissions and refunds

• Objections, corrections, and exemption requests

• Special payment schemes and procedures (e.g., for farmers)

What Is Tax For All (TFA)?

TFA is the new unified digital system of the Tax Department, designed to integrate all tax services into a modern, secure, and user-friendly platform. The transition from legacy systems to TFA is taking place in phases, with the aim of full integration over time.

The development of the new support page and the Digital Assistant's content upgrade is a result of close collaboration between the Tax Department and the Deputy Ministry of Innovation.
