Cyprus Treasury Publishes Grants and Donations for 2023
These Grants Are Allocations Provided to Legal And/or Natural Persons to Support Activities Aiming to Achieve Specific Objectives
The Treasury of the Republic of Cyprus has released information about state grants and benevolent donations for the year 2023.
As per the announcement, in line with the principle of equal treatment for all citizens and in compliance with the provisions of the Public Accounting and Financial Management and Control of the Republic Act, the Treasury has publicized these grants and donations as outlined in the State Budget.
These grants, funded by the State Budget, are allocations provided to legal and/or natural persons to support activities aiming to achieve specific objectives, business activities, or to financially strengthen these entities regarding their operational expenses.
Benevolent donations refer to monetary amounts granted from the Budget as contributions to legal and/or natural persons for covering specific needs.
This disclosure specifically concerns payments exceeding five thousand euros, disbursed to legal and/or natural persons in 2023, categorized by expenditure articles for each Ministry / Deputy Ministry / Department / Government Service.
It's clarified that the amounts presented in these statements exclude payments related to security expenses or public interest matters involving sensitive personal data.
