The “Integrated Tax Transformation” project seeks to design a new tax system that will positively impact Cyprus’s economic growth, employment, and competitiveness. The reform also aims to ensure the sustainability of public finances and promote a fairer distribution of national income, aligning with the country’s Long-Term Strategic Development Framework.

The project has been entrusted to the University of Cyprus’s Economics Research Center, which will play a key role in shaping the new tax system.
