Consumers Can Now Pay EAC Bills at All Post Offices Across Cyprus

New Collaboration Aims to Improve Accessibility and Customer Service Across Urban and Rural Areas in Cyprus

The Electricity Authority of Cyprus (EAC) and Cyprus Post signed an agreement today enabling the payment of electricity bills at all postal locations across the island.

According to an announcement by the EAC, “this agreement represents the culmination of a shared approach and mutual vision between the two organisations to improve the quality of life for our fellow citizens.”

The collaboration focuses on offering easier, faster, and more accessible service to the public.

The objectives of this agreement are multifaceted and centre on meeting the real needs of society. These include upgrading customer service at the EAC, with a special focus on supporting elderly individuals and residents of remote areas, facilitating access for customers unfamiliar with or unable to use electronic payment methods, providing practical conveniences, and saving valuable time for all EAC customers—ultimately ensuring faster and more efficient service.

Expanded Bill Payment Network for EAC Customers Across Cyprus

One of the most significant outcomes of the cooperation is the substantial increase in the number of service points for paying electricity bills.

In addition to the ten existing EAC Customer Service Centres, consumers will now be able to settle their bills at all Postal Offices and Postal Agencies across Cyprus. This expanded network includes 51 locations covering urban, rural, and even remote areas of the island.
