Troika Representatives in Cyprus for 18th Post-Programme Surveillance Review
Meetings to Assess Cyprus’ Economic, Fiscal, and Financial Stability
Meetings between Troika representatives and Cypriot authorities begin today and will continue until March 20 as part of the 18th Post-Programme Surveillance review of Cyprus.
According to a statement from the Ministry of Finance, officials from the European Commission, the European Central Bank, the European Stability Mechanism, and the International Monetary Fund will assess the country’s economic, fiscal, and financial situation.
As part of the review, meetings will be held with officials from relevant Cypriot authorities. Discussions will focus on economic, fiscal, and financial matters, continuing the usual evaluation process undertaken during these surveillance reviews.
The Post-Programme Surveillance framework ensures continued monitoring of Cyprus' financial stability following its bailout programme, helping to assess the country’s economic resilience and compliance with fiscal policies.
