The Cyprus Information Technology Enterprises Association (CITEA), a member of the Cyprus Employers and Industrialists Federation (OEB), participated in the Pan-European Conference of DIGITAL EUROPE, which took place in Copenhagen on May 15–16, 2025. The Association was represented by the Head of the European Programmes Committee, Mr. Kyriakos Kyriakou.

The conference was attended by representatives from 25 European Union countries, as well as officials from the Danish government. The objective of the meeting was to define strategic priorities for the EU's digital and technological policy in view of the upcoming Danish Presidency of the Council of the European Union.

As an active member of DIGITAL EUROPE, CITEA took part in discussions focused on strengthening the single digital market, promoting European leadership in key technologies such as artificial intelligence, microchips, and cybersecurity, facilitating innovation investments, and reducing bureaucracy for technology enterprises.

The next Pan-European meeting of DIGITAL EUROPE members will be held in October 2025 in Nicosia, in the context of the Cypriot Presidency of the Council of the European Union. CITEA will host the meeting.
