Christoforos Christoforou and Fatma Türkoğlu have been announced as the winners of the Bicommunal Short Story Competition, jointly organized by the Union of Cyprus Writers and the Turkish Cypriot Artists and Writers Union, according to an official statement from the Union of Cyprus Writers.

The announcement noted that “the two committees have also decided that both short story collections will be translated into Greek and Turkish, respectively, and later published as a bilingual book.”

The competition was open to writers up to the age of 45 and concluded on April 30, 2025.
