Starting in 2025, the Nicosia International Festival gains a new flavor—the taste of Cypriot wine. Nicosia For Art joins forces with WINECORE – Cyprus Winemakers’ Consortium to launch the initiative From Vine to Stage: Cypriot Wine Meets the Stage and Contemporary Artistic Creation.

From September 30, 2025, and every month thereafter, a different Cypriot winery will take the spotlight at the bar of the Nicosia Municipal Theatre. The first to be featured is Zambartas Winery (September 30 – October 31). During this period, theatergoers can enjoy the winery’s distinguished labels at the theatre’s bar.

Alongside its presence at the theatre, the featured winery will also host a special “Cypriot Vineyard Night”, a tasting evening certified by WINECORE. Guests will have the opportunity to sample fine wines, discover their unique history, and pair them with light bites.
