Eurovision 2026: Legends and Icons on Stage for the 70th Anniversary of the Contest

Eurovision 2026 is preparing to make history, celebrating the institution's 70th year with an impressive line-up that brings some of the contest's most emblematic names back to the stage. From major returns to explosive collaborations, this year's event in Vienna promises a unique musical spectacle.

The countdown to the grand celebration has begun, and everything indicates that 2026 will be unforgettable. To mark the 70th anniversary, organizers are preparing a night filled with emotion, nostalgia, and stunning performances.

The curtain for the First Semi-Final opens with a true Eurovision queen. Vicky Leandros returns to the stage with a new version of the timeless "L’amour est bleu," the song she performed in 1967 in Vienna, marking the start of a legendary international career. A few years later, in 1972, she secured victory with "Après Toi," gifting Luxembourg its third win.

Grand Final to Feature Legendary Eurovision All-Stars

The grand climax arrives during the Grand Final with an impressive interval act that gathers some of the most beloved Eurovision names for a unique reunion. On stage, we will see Alexander Rybak, Erika Vikman, Kristian Kostov, Lordi, Max Mutzke, Miriana Conte, Ruslana, and, of course, the legendary Verka Serduchka.

Together, they will take the audience on a journey through seven decades of Eurovision via a musical medley full of hits, energy, and iconic moments that defined the institution.

The celebration doesn't stop there. Parov Stelar, one of the most recognizable artists of the Austrian music scene, will also take the stage, while JJ—who brought victory to Austria this year—will perform his brand-new song for the first time.

With such a dynamic and nostalgic line-up, Eurovision 2026 in Vienna is not just another contest, but a massive celebration of music, history, and the millions of fans who have followed it for 70 years.
