Every Step Counts... Every Breath Counts...Time to say Thank You

Nicholas Zoe Foundation is taking a moment to catch its breath following a hugely successful Movement Challenge ‘Every Step Counts.’ A testament that when people come together, ‘Every Breath.. Every Step Counts,’ and miracles can happen.

The ‘Every Step Counts’ fundraising challenge launched on September 16, 2024 to help raise funds and awareness for pediatric cancer. Nicholas Zoe Foundation and Little Heroes invited people to create their personal, team or corporate fundraiser event:

‘Walk, run, hike, swim, or ride and rally for a significant cause that acts as our glue- to raise money for life-changing childhood cancer research.’

This soul-touching message had an overwhelming response and chain reaction beyond our communities and circles of friends. In just 8 weeks, over 50 individuals and teams participated in the Challenge, raising an astounding amount of €28,825.

From walks at Athalassa Park to marathons in Larnaka, Berlin Dubai and Chicaco, from yoga and padel challenges to a fun Shooting Day, and from endorsements by Taekwondo Champion, Kyriaki Koutouki, to Paralympic Champion, Karolina Pelendritou.

Backed by popular demand, ‘Every Step Counts’ will continue as a reminder that our shared humanity and interconnectedness inspires kindness and generosity. Cancer has an undeniable ripple effect. It touches everyone in so many seen and unseen ways. So, why not continue to lend a set of helping hands and feet?

All contributions go towards research which aspires to lead to faster diagnosis, less invasive treatments and targeted care. Nicholas Zoe Foundation and Little Heroes are proudly supporting an innovative research at Boston Children’s Hospital, which involves the making of a liquid biopsy to support children with cancer.

We invite you to celebrate the completion of ‘Every Step Counts’ Chapter I, on December 1 between 10 am – 3pm at Riverland Bio Farm. Full details on Nicholas Zoe Foundation social media platforms.
