The Jaguar Type 00, a futuristic concept car that embodies the brand’s vision for the future, made its first public appearance during Paris Fashion Week. The striking prototype was spotted on the streets of the French capital, serving as a luxurious mode of transportation for high-profile celebrities and captivating onlookers.

On Sunday, March 9, Irish actor and Saltburn star Barry Keoghan was seen unloading his luggage from the sleek vehicle outside The Peninsula Paris hotel after attending the Valentino fashion show.

The following day, actor, model, and musician Jamie Dornan arrived at the iconic Hôtel Plaza Athénée in the Type 00, which also chauffeured Oscar-winning actress Zoe Saldana, known for her roles in Avatar and Avengers: Endgame. She was accompanied by her husband, Marco Perego-Saldana.

The Type 00’s presence at Paris Fashion Week quickly went viral, putting an end to speculation about whether the model actually existed. Its debut follows its world premiere at Miami Art Week in December 2024, serving as a preview of Jaguar’s future direction. The car reaffirms the brand’s commitment to its “Copy Nothing” philosophy, inspired by Jaguar’s founder, Sir William Lyons.

In Paris, the Type 00 was showcased in a striking “French Ultramarine” color—a nod to the historic Ultramarine blue, which has been associated with French art and culture since the Renaissance. Jaguar developed a unique metallic pigment, giving the shade a satin finish that enhances the car’s bold, sculpted design.

The French capital will also host Jaguar’s new flagship store, located in the “Golden Triangle,” the heart of France’s luxury fashion industry. This store will be part of Jaguar’s global expansion, with each new location reflecting the cultural essence of its host city.
