Once again, the largest maritime exhibition in the Eastern Mediterranean is expected to impress and attract thousands of boat enthusiasts and sea lovers.
According to a press release from the organisers, the registration process for the Limassol Boat Show 2024 has already surpassed all previous records, with dozens of businesses set to showcase impressive recreational boats, diving and fishing equipment, notable cars, and a wide variety of maritime services.
The press conference for the Limassol Boat Show 2024 was held today at the Marina Breeze Lounge Bar in Limassol Marina, on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, attended by Aristos Aristidou, Director of Dacor Advertising and Media Ltd, Nikiforos Pampakas, General Manager of Limassol Marina, and former Deputy Minister of Shipping, Vassilis Demetriades.
Following the immense success and international recognition of the previous exhibition, the event organisers, Dacor Advertising & Media Ltd and Limassol Marina, expressed their enthusiasm and gratitude for the remarkable interest shown by exhibitors and visitors alike, for this year's event.
As mentioned, the demand further underscores the exhibition's capabilities, which undoubtedly contribute significantly to establishing Cyprus on the maritime map and the growing development of the maritime sector locally.
During today's press conference, the official opening of the Limassol Boat Show was announced to take place on Thursday, May 23, at 17:00 at Limassol Marina.
The Limassol Boat Show 2024 will take place from May 23 to May 26, 2024, giving visitors the opportunity to admire the latest products and new trends in the maritime industry, water sports, fishing, diving, and other related activities.
Key innovations at this year's exhibition include the first presentation of a Lamborghini boat in the Eastern Mediterranean, along with impressive appearances from international companies in the industry such as Sanlorenzo, Princess, Sunseeker, Azimut, Benetti, Bavaria, Elan, Sea Ray, MAREX, Riva, Antonio Yachts, Mastercraft, Chris-Craft, Sacs, MV marine, MITO, Prestige, Lagoon, Jeanneau, Invictus, and others.
The BSM Maritime Training Centre will also welcome visitors and professionals in the maritime sector, showcasing training opportunities in this field. This year's event will also feature demonstrations of water activities such as Flyboard, Waveboard, and Jet Ski by industry athletes in the demonstration area (AS), while live music events will be held daily at the VIP Café Lounge in Exhibition Area D.
The 2nd Limassol Boat Show Conference will also take place during the Limassol Boat Show 2024, on May 24 at the BSM Maritime Training Centre in Limassol Marina, from 08:30 to 13:30. Official guests from Cyprus and abroad will participate in the discussion panel, coordinated by former Deputy Minister of Shipping, Vassilis Demetriades, on whether there is a need for a holistic approach by the European Union in the yachting sector. The Limassol Boat Show 2024 will be open on Thursday and Friday, May 23 and 24, from 17:00 to 21:00, while on Saturday and Sunday, May 25 and 26, the exhibition will be open from 12:00 to 20:00. Admission to most parts of the Limassol Boat Show is free (including areas featuring small boats, fishing equipment, industry services, sports, marine products, and more), while access to the large recreational boats area (Area D) is €10.
