Artist Theodoulos Gregoriou, based on his work “Mental Geography – Constellations”, the visual transfer of the Red Lake of Mitsero at the exhibition “Casts of an Island”, presents the themes that concern his art and milestones in his artistic career. As art historian Thalea Stefanidou comments on the work: “In this visual composition, he addresses the layers of time as palimpsests that shape collective consciousness”. This is the first presentation of the work in Cyprus, realized for the first time especially for the retrospective exhibition of Theodoulos at the National Museum of Contemporary Art in Bucharest (MNAC) in 2023.
