The Street Life Festival Is Coming To Limassol

A Day Filled With Art, Music And Activities For A Philanthropic Purpose

The Street Life Festival returns to Limassol on April 27th to offer a day of art, vibrancy and creativity in the centre of Limassol. For 17 years, it has been lovingly organised by The Copy Shop and Project2C, in collaboration with the Municipality of Limassol, and stands as the largest annual festival in the old town, attracting over 30,000 visitors every year.

The historic streets of Saripolou and Athenon in the old town of Limassol will host a unique celebration of artistic expression. Walls will be transformed into canvases for over 20 talented street artists. The festival will be preceded by a week of artistic transformation, culminating on the day of the festival.

Skateboarders, BMX cyclists and break-dancers will showcase their skills. On the day of the festival, the old town will be closed off to car traffic, creating space for basketball, breakdance performances, and a skate park with ramps. The festival will be accompanied by hip-hop and RnB music.

The festival extends beyond visual arts, featured an Artists' Market and Workshops. Over 50 local creators will present their art, handmade jewellery, crafts, games and much more. Participants are encouraged to join workshops to learn and try out new skills, promoting interaction and creativity in the community.

The Street Life Festival is not just an artistic gathering. It is an initiative supporting a philanthropic purpose. All proceeds from the organisers will be donated to the Theotokos Foundation.

"We aim to bring a funky and alternative vibe to the city of Limassol, and offer visitors a day full of vibrancy and creativity," says Yiotis Kyriakou, owner of The Copy Shop.

Festival organisers recommend approaching the city centre from the coastal road, where parking spaces are available in the old port and along the coastline. Participants are encouraged to use bicycles and scooters to explore the centre of Limassol.
