Marina Chatzimanoli, the Deputy Minister of Shipping, departs today for Miami, USA, following an invitation from Royal Caribbean, one of the world's largest cruise industry groups.

According to an official announcement, the invitation from Royal Caribbean is part of the prospect of strengthening collaboration between the group and the Deputy Ministry of Shipping. This follows the registration of the first cruise ship in the Cypriot registry in 2023 and the establishment of the company's office in Limassol in October, which serves as the company's activity hub in the Eastern Mediterranean.

During her visit to Miami, the Deputy Minister of Shipping will meet with members of the Cypriot diaspora who are professionally active in the USA. Mrs. Chatzimanoli will be accompanied by Evangelos Savva, the Ambassador of Cyprus to the USA.
