‘During King Charles’s recent operation for benign prostatic hyperplasia, a matter of concern was noticed. Subsequent diagnostic examinations located a form of cancer.

His Majesty began a program of regular treatments today and the doctors advised him to cancel his public duties during this period. His Majesty will continue to work on state affairs and official records as usual.

The king is grateful to the medical team for their timely intervention, which was made possible thanks to the recent operation. He remains absolutely optimistic about his treatment and is looking forward to fully returning to his public duties as soon as possible."
