Cyprus Labor and Social Insurance Minister Yiannis Panagiotou has observed a positive disposition among social partners ahead of the upcoming meeting on Friday morning (22 March). The meeting will address cooperation on matters concerning labor market staffing and the utilization of workers from third countries.

"I note that there is a positive mood among the social partners," emphasized the Labor Minister during an informal meeting with journalists.

"We will discuss more specific issues in tomorrow's meeting," he added, stating, "Our goal is to further enhance cooperation among social partners on this matter, on which there may have been disagreements in the past, to achieve better collaboration."

The meeting, scheduled for 10:00 AM at the Ministry of Labor, will be attended by representatives of trade union organizations SEK, PEO, and DEOK, and employer organizations OEB and CCCI. This follows a previous meeting held last Friday, March 15th, on these specific issues.
