Local Demand Drives Growth in Beer Deliveries, Despite a Dip in Exports
Cyprus Sees 10% Annual Increase in March
Beer deliveries in Cyprus saw a significant increase of 10% annually in March 2024, with this upward trend primarily fueled by domestic consumption.
The Statistical Service released data showing that the total volume of beer deliveries in March reached 3.43 million liters. This marks a considerable increase from the 2.95 million liters recorded during the same period last year.
Specifically, deliveries within the local market reached 3.3 million liters, representing an impressive 11.5% increase year-on-year, as reported by CyStat.
In contrast, beer exports experienced a downturn, decreasing by 18% on an annual basis. The volume of exports dropped to 0.14 million liters in March 2024, down from 0.17 million liters in March of the previous year.
