Erato Ioannou's New Book Has Been Released
Named, 'Of Nobody'
According to an announcement, the new novel by Erato Ioannou, "Of Nobody" (Published by Purple Squirrel Editions), has been released in both Cyprus and Greece.
As mentioned with regards to the plot, three people condemned in a non-place - the dead zone of Nicosia - struggle with their confinement, where resignation and hope coexist, reality and dream, the hours each spends in their own way under the same narrow piece of sky.
Erato Ioannou was born in Paphos in 1978 and has written the short story collections "Cats Have it All" (2004) and "Not in the Ornamental Teapot" (2020), inspired by her life in Nicosia, the last divided capital of Europe. She worked as an Assistant Editor at the literary magazine of the Cypriot PEN, In Focus (2016-20), while she is the founder and president of Room for Art.
