The 30th anniversary of CABSAT, the premier event for the MEASA region's media, entertainment, and satellite industries, saw a strong presence from Cypriot companies, showcasing the island's growing technological prowess and innovation.

One of the standout exhibitors was Cyta Telecommunications. Their International Department for the wholesale market attracted significant attention with cutting-edge services, including Satellite Uplink, Downlink, and connectivity solutions for international service providers, operators, carriers, and corporate customers.

Adding to the Cypriot contingent was Digital Tree, which unveiled an impressive array of services. The company's portfolio includes online media, radio, out-of-home advertising, and Cyprus’s first OTT TV platform, Digital TV.

Venus Hub, a dynamic new startup, made waves with its advanced IP streaming services, satellite signal transport, CDN, and hotel services.

Engaging discussions were also held with Mr. Protopapas Christodoulos, Managing Director of Hellas SAT, regarding their active presence in the region. Hellas SAT continues to solidify its position as a key player in the satellite communications industry.

Pierides TechnoSystems S.A., a Greek-Cypriot company, also showcased their expertise as a distributor and system integrator in the broadcast industry, further highlighting the technological ecosystem of Cyprus.

CABSAT 2024, held at the Dubai World Trade Centre from May 21 to 23, marks a milestone in its history, drawing over 18,000 industry professionals. The event features a rich array of exhibitors, including new participants and pavilions from China, France, and Germany, each showcasing the latest in media technology.

As the exhibition comes to a close today, attendees have one last opportunity to explore innovative solutions and attend insightful sessions, such as creating videos entirely using AI.
