Real Estate Sector Framework Discussed At Land Registry Meeting
Land Developers Present Proposals To Enhance Operational Procedures And Modernize The Sector
The positions and suggestions of the Cyprus Land and Building Developers Association, aimed at improving the operational framework of the real estate sector, were the focus of a meeting held on Tuesday at the Department of Land and Surveys.
In the presence of the Department's Director, Neoclis Neocleous, and relevant officials, the Association's President, Yiannis Misirlis, along with members of the Board and the General Director, presented proposals to the Department of Land and Surveys that aim to enhance its work, according to the announcement by the Cyprus Land and Building Developers Association.
A particularly constructive dialogue was developed in this context, with an exchange of views and proposals on a range of issues of concern. The meeting's agenda included, among other things, topics related to amendments to the Property Sale Law, procedures for issuing title deeds, and external boundary demarcation.
Representatives of the Cyprus Land and Building Developers Association welcomed the efforts being made by the Department of Land and Surveys to improve and modernize the procedures followed. Additionally, the importance of collaboration and dialogue for achieving the desired results and improving the land development and construction sector was emphasized.
