The 12th International Investment Awards, organized annually by Invest Cyprus, recognized the presence and activities of international companies that significantly contribute to the local economy. The awards ceremony took place on Wednesday at the Hilton Hotel, with the President of the Republic, Nikos Christodoulides, investors, service sector professionals, and political and economic figures in attendance.

In its announcement, Invest Cyprus stated that the awards aim to acknowledge the achievements of businesses that have made notable contributions to investments and entrepreneurship in Cyprus.

Seven companies were honored for their outstanding contribution to the local economy and society. These companies are Oracle Cyprus, Criteo, MHV / Invel Real Estate, Monjasa, HELLENiQ ENERGY, Boutique Beverages Bottling International Ltd, and the American University of Beirut – Mediterraneo.

“These companies have demonstrated innovation, promoted green transition, and supported digital transformation, enhancing the competitiveness and resilience of the Cypriot economy,” the announcement highlighted.

In his speech, the President of Invest Cyprus, Evgenios Evgeniou, emphasized the importance of the awards in boosting investor confidence and attracting new investments to Cyprus. “This year's event is an opportunity to celebrate and recognize the achievements of the past year. The award-winning companies have significantly contributed to strengthening the Cypriot economy by promoting innovation and sustainable development. We are proud of our work and committed to continuing our efforts to attract investments and promote Cyprus as a pioneering investment destination,” Mr. Evgeniou noted.

In its own announcement, PwC Cyprus remarked that international personalities and foreign companies were honored once again for their trust in Cyprus and their contributions to business.

On behalf of PwC Cyprus, the organization’s CEO, Philippos Soseilos, along with the Minister of Interior, Konstantinos Ioannou, presented awards to MHV and Invel Real Estate and their founder, Christoforos Papachristoforou.
