Michalis Louis Appointed as New CEO of Hellenic Bank
Antonis Rouvas, Who Had Been Serving as Acting CEO Since August 1, 2023, Has Resumed His Previous Role as CFO
Michalis Louis has been appointed as the new CEO of Hellenic Bank with immediate effect, following a decision made by the bank’s Board of Directors during its meeting on Wednesday. This decision comes after his election as Executive Director at the Annual General Meeting of the bank’s shareholders and the approval of his appointment by the European Central Bank.
According to a statement from Hellenic Bank, Antonis Rouvas, who had been serving as Acting CEO since August 1, 2023, has resumed his previous role as Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
Maria Kelesi, who had taken on the role of Acting CFO, will return to her duties as Chief Accountant of the bank.
Additionally, Hellenic Bank announced that, following the Board’s formation after the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders, the Board decided on the composition of the Audit, Risk Management, Nominations/Internal Governance, and Remuneration Committees, with effect from September 18, 2024.
The Board also decided to abolish the Transformation Committee.
