Adobe, one of the world’s largest software development companies, introduced its new AI model, Firefly Video Model, which converts written text into video or audio files.

This technology, focused on transforming text into audiovisual material, has recently become a highly competitive field. OpenAI, the creators of ChatGPT, pioneered this sector, followed by tech giants like Meta (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, Threads), ByteDance (TikTok), and others.

The new AI advancements have attracted Hollywood’s attention as they can be used as tools in film production. In the future, more advanced versions of such programs could create entire films without human involvement, as existing AI models, like ChatGPT, have already demonstrated the capability to generate movie scripts.

Adobe’s Firefly Video Model will initially be available to selected users who have expressed interest. These users will test the model’s capabilities and report any weaknesses or malfunctions to the company, allowing for necessary improvements and upgrades.

Adobe, headquartered in San Jose, California, employs approximately 29,000 people and recorded over $19 billion in revenue in 2023.
