The IDEA Innovation Center of the Bank of Cyprus is accepting new applications from individuals with innovative ideas that have the potential to transform into startups until February 14, 2025.

According to a press release, this call marks the 10th cycle of the program aimed at startups capable of developing innovative products or services, addressing existing challenges in creative ways, possessing a dedicated and capable team of at least two founders or members, and demonstrating the potential to expand into international markets through technology.

Through its nine-month program, IDEA provides startups with a comprehensive support package to accelerate their entrepreneurial journey. This includes:

• €20,000 in seed capital

• Business education for building and scaling their ventures

• Mentoring from experienced entrepreneurs

• Support services in legal, accounting, marketing, and technology (ICT)

• Business development and networking opportunities

• Access to potential investors, including angel investors

As stated in the press release, IDEA is the largest innovation and entrepreneurial support center in Cyprus, showcasing the Bank of Cyprus’s commitment to fostering innovation and entrepreneurship and its ongoing investment in the country’s future.

Since its inception, IDEA has supported 95 startups and created over 120 new jobs. These startups have attracted significant investments and business collaborations both locally and internationally, opened offices, and hired personnel.
