Tourist Arrivals in Cyprus Reach 3.73 Million by October 2024, Setting New Records
October Marks All-Time High in Monthly Arrivals, Continuing 2024’s Growth Trend
Tourist arrivals in Cyprus reached nearly 3.73 million in the January–October 2024 period, reflecting an annual increase of 4.6% and a marginal rise of 0.81% compared to the same period in 2019, which was a record year for Cypriot tourism.
According to the Statistical Service of Cyprus (CyStat), October 2024 saw an all-time high for the month, with 459,106 arrivals, surpassing October 2023 by 7.7% and October 2019 by 5.2%. This marks the second month of 2024 to achieve a monthly record, following August.
From January to October 2024, total tourist arrivals amounted to 3,727,196, up from 3,562,417 during the same period in 2023, representing a 4.6% increase.
