According to the Wikimedia Foundation, the English Wikipedia received over 76 billion views worldwide as of October. The list highlights the subjects that captured public attention, ranging from significant global events to emerging cultural trends.

The page for “Deaths in 2024” claimed the top spot with over 44 million views. Since tracking began in 2015, this theme has consistently ranked among the top three.

The U.S. elections were a major focal point, with Kamala Harris's page taking second place (28.9 million views) and the 2024 presidential election page ranking third (27.9 million). President-elect Donald Trump secured fifth place, while Vice President-elect J.D. Vance landed seventh.

Politics intertwined with pop culture in the rankings. The Menéndez brothers, Lyle and Erik, convicted for the 1989 murders of their parents, surged to fourth place following renewed interest from a Netflix documentary. Taylor Swift, ranked 11th, continued to command attention, while the death of musician Liam Payne (25th place) moved millions of fans.

India maintained a strong presence in global searches. The Indian Premier League (IPL) took sixth place, while the country’s general elections secured the 10th spot, peaking during the announcement of results.
