Cyprus Submits Bid for OSCE 2027 Chairmanship
Foreign Minister Departs for Malta to Attend OSCE Ministerial Meeting
Cyprus’s Foreign Minister, Konstantinos Kombos, departs for Malta today, Wednesday, to participate in the Ministerial Meeting of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE). According to Government Spokesperson Konstantinos Letymbiotis, the Republic of Cyprus has formally submitted its candidacy for the OSCE Chairmanship in 2027.
Speaking to the media after the Cabinet meeting at the Presidential Palace, Letymbiotis confirmed the minister's departure for the OSCE meeting, which takes place from December 4 to 6 in Malta's capital, Valletta.
“We also announce that the Republic of Cyprus has officially submitted its candidacy for the OSCE Chairmanship for the year 2027,” stated the Spokesperson.
Letymbiotis added that during his stay in Malta, the Foreign Minister will engage in a series of meetings with his counterparts.
