The Research and Innovation Foundation (RIF) is pleased to announce the launch of a consultation for a new funding programme «STEP: Setting up facilities and production lines for manufacturing new innovative products/services».

The Programme is addressed to Cypriot companies of all sizes and has a total budget of €10M. Its goal is to support businesses in developing critical technologies and setting up facilities and production lines for manufacturing new innovative products in the following sectors:

• digital and deep technology innovation

• clean and resource efficient technologies

• biotechnologies

The Programme to be announced is in line with Regulation 2024/795 of the EC “Establishing the Strategic Technologies for Europe Platform” (STEP), and the consultation follows a market sounding exercise carried out by RIF to explore the interest of Cypriot businesses in setting up facilities and production lines.
