The Turnover Value Index of Retail Trade in Cyprus increased by 5.8% in December 2024 compared to the same month in the previous year, according to the Statistical Service of Cyprus.

For the same period, the Turnover Volume Index of Retail Trade saw a 3.6% year-on-year increase, reflecting sustained growth in consumer spending.

From January to December 2024, the Retail Trade Value Index is estimated to have risen by 5.4%, while the Volume Index recorded an increase of 4.3% compared to the corresponding period in 2023. These figures indicate a continued upward trend in the retail sector, driven by increased consumer demand and economic stability.
