Stelios Bi-Communal Awards: Applications Open Until March 11
€4.8 Million Awarded Since 2009 to Strengthen Trust and Economic Growth
The Stelios Bi-Communal Awards for Business Cooperation have contributed €4.8 million since their launch in 2009, playing a key role in fostering business partnerships, strengthening trust between Greek Cypriot and Turkish Cypriot entrepreneurs, and supporting Cyprus’s social and economic development. The 2025 application deadline is set for Tuesday, March 11.
For 15 years, the Stelios Bi-Communal Awards have been embraced by entrepreneurs from both communities, helping them establish partnerships that go beyond business to promote cooperation and reconciliation. The awards have provided vital financial support, including this year's €410,000 prize pool, bringing the total amount awarded since 2009 to €4.8 million.
Applications for the 2025 Stelios Bi-Communal Awards can be submitted until Tuesday, March 11, 2025. Interested teams can apply by downloading the application form from the Stelios Philanthropic Foundation website and sending the completed form via email to Marios Missirlis at [email protected].
The awards ceremony will take place on Friday, April 11, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at the Stelios Philanthropic Foundation headquarters in Nicosia. The prizes will be presented by Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou, with Cyprus President Nikos Christodoulides attending the event.
