Cyprus Holds Memorial and Protest Events for Tempi Train Crash Victims

Public Gatherings Demand Justice and Transparency on the Second Anniversary

Two years after the Tempi train disaster, which claimed 57 lives, the memory of the victims remains alive. In Cyprus, citizens are organizing memorial events and protests, calling for accountability and transparency in the ongoing investigations.

The events will take place on February 28 at the following locations:

  • Nicosia: Eleftheria Square, 5:00 PM

  • Limassol: Molos Parking Area, 6:00 PM

  • Larnaca: Europe Square, 5:00 PM

  • Paphos: Town Hall Square, 5:00 PM

Organizers invite the public to attend, holding banners and candles as a sign of respect for the victims and support for their families.
