Cyclists in Nicosia now have an easier way to navigate the city’s bicycle paths. The interactive map, titled Cycling Infrastructure Nicosia SEPTEMBER 2022, allows users to locate designated bike lanes and plan safer cycling routes directly through their smartphones.

To access the map, users need to open Google Maps, tap on the Saved tab at the bottom of the screen, scroll down to Maps, and select the cycling infrastructure map. Once selected, it will appear within Google Maps as an overlay, enabling cyclists to identify routes that prioritize safety and accessibility.

The map can be removed temporarily by returning to the Saved Maps section, selecting the map, tapping its title, and choosing Close. However, it remains available for future use following the same process.
